Get to know in the article, what should you do so that in the next 10 days the tuber doubles?
If a crop absorbs nutrients from soil and uses the stored energy in its stem properly, the tubers will become thick, bold, and strong from the outside, resulting in high-quality garlic that fetches better market prices. Now, if your crop is 100 days old, here’s the problem
Threats To Crop

Two main threats arise as temperatures rise. The biggest is thrips, a pest affecting garlic and onion crops. If not controlled in time, it can destroy the entire crop. There is no insecticide in the world that kills thrips completely. The second major threat is blight. Blight of an appears in fields where sap-sucking insects like thrips are already present. These insects damage the leaves by sucking their juice. Later, dew settles at night, creating favorable conditions for fungal growth. If the leaves are damaged, the plant can’t make food during the day, and without food, the tuber won’t thicken.
Solutions
To prevent this, apply highly technical sprays. After 100 days, only two sprays will be needed before harvest. If the heat rises and thrips infestation is severe, spray Delegate, Tracer, or Exponent. Mix it with ace tamiprid for added effects.

Fungal Disease
Fungal diseases spread rapidly; you must act quickly to protect your field from being affected. After 100 days, you have to use standard fungicides. If the crop gets damaged once, even if it recovers in 10 days, the game is already over. So after 100 days, stick to standard fungicides.
The strongest result has come from Tabu Conjal. You can also use
- Trifloxystrobin with tabuconazole
- Ajax strobing with Tebuconazole
- Tab Conjal
Use of PGRs for diseases

There are many types of PGR on the market. The question arises, which one to buy? Many people use Chamatkar, some use Lisan, and others use Culter or Tabu. The best results on garlic, in my opinion, come from pakla Batul, found in Tabu and Culter. If you use cleocin, its results are the opposite; it causes the plant to mature early, so avoid it. As far as Chamatkar, I believe it only shows results on broadleaf crops and gives zero results here, so don’t use it at all. Whether you use culter or Tabo mix it with water, keeping the water quantity high and the insecticide/fungicide quantity low. Water should be more and more because the crop is now big; using less water will not harm the pests like thrips.
Following these steps makes your garlic bigger so that you get maximum profits from it.
